National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organisation provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 21 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.
MPCON Ltd., is a subsidiary of IFCI Limited, a PSU under the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. It is the oldest Technical Consultancy Organization, in the Central region which has been working in the field of Entrepreneurship and Skill Development since 1979. The other Shareholders of MPCON are PSU Banks and M.P. State Govt. Corporations. The core expertise of the company lies in executing project consultancy assignments and training & capacity building in the field of livelihoods promotion. MPCON promotes entrepreneurship in the state of M.P & Chhattisgarh and provides Consultancy services in various industrial sectors including Agriculture, Food Processing, IT/ITES, Environment & Energy Projects, CSR implementation, Rehabilitation Studies for Sick Units etc. To its credit, MPCON has prepared numerous Project Reports & Studies of various kinds. These reports comprise of Detailed Engineering Project Reports, Valuation of Properties, preparation of Techno Economic Viability Study (TEVS), preparation of District Agriculture Plan (DAP), Financial Inclusion, Socio Economic Studies etc.
The AMH SSC was incorporated on December 24, 2013, as a company i.e. licensed under Sec 25 of the Companies act 1956 with the object to Develop a skills repository for the Apparel, Made-Ups and Home Furnishings value chain, To build an organization that can develop Standards, evaluation criterion and accreditation systems for providing multiple and varied technical skills in the textile sector including employ ability skills to both men and women, as well as challenged persons with regular and direct inputs from industry, Create opportunities for “Training of Trainers ”in both the content and pedagogy for imparting skill training for all workers engaged in the three chosen segments of the textile sector, Quality Assurance-Develop and promote a standardized, output oriented and quality assured affiliation and accreditation process and demonstrate sustainable business value through it, Focus on continuous improvisation of the training delivery value chain, i.e. training process, training content, trainers, curriculum design, industry endorsement for certification etc., Partner with training providers and guide them into becoming centre so excellence and innovation by utilizing the standardization in training, evaluation and certification developed by the SSC of the sector. Integration of Technology in Training, Development of a sector skill development plan and maintain skill inventory, Promotion of Resource Support Agency (academies of excellence), Establishment of a well structured sector specific Labour Market Information System (LMIS) to assist planning and delivery of training. AMH SSC a body has a well defined organizational structure comprising industry members from knitwear, apparel, hosiery, fashion design, made-ups / home furnishing, association, academia, domestic apparel industry, NSDC besides representative from MoT.
B&WSSC is not for profit organization promoted by CII with financial support from NSDC, under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The aim is to establish an effective and efficient eco-system for development and imparting of skills in Beauty and Wellness industry including content & curriculum, courses, information databases, delivery systems, standardization of the accreditation and certification process to enhance employability of the Indian workforce globally.
Logistics Sector Skill Council, (LSC) a society registered under the Societies Registration act, 1860 is a not for profit organization set up by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) though National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and promoted by Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL) a Centre of Excellence in Logistics with the aim to develop skill trained as well as up-skill the workforce in India.
Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) is a Not‐for‐Profit Organization, registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956.The Council has been promoted by six Associations i.e. CEAMA, ELCINA, IESA (formerly ISA) , IPCA, MAIT & ELCOMA, with financial support by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
RASCI is a not-for-profit, independent public limited organisation established under Section 25 of the Companies Act. We have been funded by the Government of India along with Equity participation from Retailer’s Association of India, Reliance Retail Ltd., Future Retail India Ltd., Shoppers Stop Ltd., Globus Stores (P) Ltd., Trent Ltd., Infiniti Retail Ltd. and Connaught Plaza Restaurant (P) Ltd. to function as the Apex Skill Development Council for the Retail Industry. We represent the retail industry in India. RASCI is a collaborative and comprehensive source of retail expertise and independent advice for industry, training organizations, educational institutions, certifying bodies, employees, students or jobseekers about skills development in the retail industry.
